Kevin Kasel: Best advice you've ever received (doesn't have to be hockey-related):

Bryce Anderson: Never quit. Never give up.

Kevin: Finish this sentence: The fans would be surprised to know that I...

Bryce: Oh man? They wouldn't be surprised that I grew up on a farm. Gosh I don't know about that.

Kevin: My first job was ...

Bryce: I bagged groceries up in Minot (North Dakota), that was my first job.

Kevin: Best decision I ever made?

Bryce: I would say, to play hockey. It's been my life. It'll help me in the future with my life decisions. That's the best decision I have ever made.

Kevin: What would you being doing now if you weren't playing hockey?

Bryce: I suppose I would be going to school. Probably here in Iowa. Maybe University of Iowa or UNI (University of Northern Iowa) or something. Actually right now, I would be helping Dad out on the farm combining.

Kevin: What do you like to do besides hockey?

Bryce: I played baseball through high school. I enjoy golfing and lifting weights. Just hanging out with the guys and stuff.

Kevin: What can't you imagine living without?

Bryce: Food.

Kevin: Do you have a favorite movie?

Bryce: Yeah. Tommy Boy.

Kevin: Finish this sentence. My team mates think I'm...

Bryce: Laid back.

Kevin: Who is your favorite non-hockey athlete?

Bryce: Kirby Puckett

Kevin: What is your favorite non-hockey sport?

Bryce: Baseball.

Kevin: If you were head coach of a team what would you do?

Bryce: I would take a lot of the bits and pieces from what I have been taught, all the way up and try to combine it. Just really work with the kids. It's all about the players.

Kevin: When you're not playing hockey, where are we most likely to find you (in or off season)?

Bryce: In season, so far I have been working dry-wall with Dan, a friend of mine from Waterloo (Iowa). That's been keeping me busy. Out of season, probably working out on the farm, outside doing something.

Kevin: What is your favorite food?

Bryce: Steak.

Kevin: Do you have a specific pre-game meal? If so, what is it?

Bryce: Usually pasta. Something pasta.

Kevin: Who is your favorite band?

Bryce: I have to say, Metalica is a classic.

Kevin: If you started your own NHL franchise, and you could pick any player, who would you start with and why?

Bryce: Gosh, probably some young foreign guy. (Ilya) Kovalchuk or someone like that, just try and get young players ... Kovalchuk or (Ruslan) Fedotenko.

Kevin: What are your superstitions?

Bryce: I don't really have any.
